Preserve the Land. Protect Our Traditions.
Join the effort to launch Alabama’s first private, member-supported park system.
Our Mission
Alabama Private Parks is building a statewide system of privately owned parks for families, hunters, and land stewards. We believe Alabamians deserve access to outdoor spaces that reflect our values—with no federal strings attached.
- Year-round access to outdoor recreation
- Hunting and conservation coexisting by design
- No government interference
- Stewardship of land, timber, and wildlife
Why We Can’t Rely on Government-Run Land
- Congress nearly sold 3.3 million acres of public land: A 2025 proposal would have auctioned off massive tracts of federal land before it was stopped by public backlash. [Source]
- National Parks were locked during COVID-19: Over 60 parks including Yellowstone and Yosemite closed completely, cutting off access with no input from the public. [Source]
- Alabama State Parks limited access: In 2020, beaches and caves were closed despite parks being “open.” [Source]
Alabama Private Parks guarantees access written into our charter—not subject to shutdowns, politics, or bureaucratic rule.
